About Us and ...

Our Journey

COPICAD (Community Organization for Positive Impact, Care & Development) is a Community-Based Organization registered in Nyandarua County since 2017. Our main programs focuses on environment conservation, land restoration and social-economic empowerment of youth, women and the most vulnerable in the community. Since 2017, COPICAD has been able to plant over 250,000 tree seedlings registering an impressive survival rate of 80%, trained over 600 youths and care givers on diverse skills, built drainage facilities and engaged in diverse community empowerment activities.

Our activities involve communities through organising social events and sports to enhance community engagement and inclusion.

As a way of connecting our backers and well-wishers, we have enrolled Restoration Tourism programs that bring a closer community touch and fulfilment. This has far generated meaningful engagements between community members and our organisation.
